Namasté Welcome to my own little corner of the web. For those of you who don’t know me, here’s a little bit about myself. . . I was born in Pueblo, Colorado in the mid 1950's. We moved to Spokane, Washington when I was 5, quickly got tired of the snow, and moved to warmer country in southern Arizona when I was 7. I spent 17 years basking in the sun in Tucson, before I moved back to cold country, first to Cody, Wyoming and then even further north to Billings, Montana. I met my husband, Doug, on-line a few years ago, and made the move to Louisville, Kentucky in October 2000. I am mom to an amazing daughter, Heather, who I don’t get to see nearly as often as I like. We share our home with Sophie, a goobery Chinese Shar-Pei; Stinky, an antisocial feline; Cleo, the bird queen from hell; and several carnivorous goldfish that we lovingly refer to as the tribe. I’ve worked at everything from slinging burgers and managing an auto parts store, to being a paralegal. I’m currently working as an executive assistant for a financial consulting firm and I’m contemplating going back to school. (Almost 50, and I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up) I’m also a certified second degree Reiki practitioner. I love visiting new places and travel every chance I get. I particularly enjoy spending time out-of-doors, walking on the beach or hiking in the mountains. I dabble in photography and mother nature provides wonderful subjects. I’m also a lover of all kinds of music and literature. This is starting to sound an awful lot like a single’s ad. At any rate, I hope you all enjoy our site. Please sign the guest book, and come back often to see what’s new. Peace. |
